We recently visited Midland, TX and stumbled across Hawaiian Bros. Being from Hawaii, I was excited and knew I had to try it! Overall, my food was decent. I got the mixed plate — the pork was delicious and full of flavor, while the chicken teriyaki was alright, but had a slightly weird flavor to me. You can never go wrong with white rice, but I was a little disappointed with the mac salad. It had a very overwhelming taste of mayo and black pepper and honestly did not remind me of any mac salad I’ve had back home in Hawaii. My husband got the pork sliders and said they were a 10/10! Our son got the kids pork plate and absolutely devoured the pork, so that was definitely a win. And we cannot forget the Spam musubi!!! The flavor was delicious, but my only issue was the amount of seaweed. The thin strip was basically a teaser because as soon as you picked it up, it started falling apart. Wrapping it with a little more seaweed would make it less messy and much easier to eat. Overall, the aesthetics of the restaurant were really cute and the place was super clean. Definitely a fun spot to try, especially if you’re craving a little taste of Hawaii while in Texas.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for such an amazing experience. This was honestly one of the best overall experiences I’ve had. Maria and the entire team were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive throughout the night. Their professionalism and kindness truly stood out. I also want to give special compliments to the cook I ordered the Kilauea Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was outstanding, and you could really tell care was put into preparing the meal. Thank you again to your entire team for making my night so enjoyable. It was a wonderful experience, and I truly appreciate the excellent service and food. Definitely coming back

Lisa had exceptional service. She did a great job accommodating our large number of people with a friendly smile. I greeted her with a handshake and jokes and she put up with me and my friend’s shenanigans. She deserves a fat raise.

Gwan was amazing in taking his time to explain the difference of all the dishes. Service was amazing and the food came out quick and fresh. My kids enjoyed the Huli Huli chicken and loved the option to get pineapple as a side. I got the Kilauea and my husband got the pacific wrap. All were good portions for the price.
